The Hottest Disk You Can’t Have

Brenden Kennedy from The Toronto Star wrote an article about Novels check it out below!

“It was slumber-party scheming between high school chums that led Tokyo Police Club’s Graham Wright and Will Currie, of Will Currie and the Country French, to assemble members of some of Toronto’s hottest young bands to write and record a full EP in a single day – a suitably charming birth to a delightfully curious pop project.

“Will and I have this long history of coming up with these cockamamie schemes and these grand ideas,” Wright says over the phone from L.A., where Tokyo Police Club are recording the follow-up to last year’s Elephant Shell.”

Novels Manufacturing Party

This past week Dean, Jay, and Graham spent a couple of days in the Chemical Sound Studio Zone doing some arts and crafts.  Specifically, they put together around 200 CDs of our long gestating Novels project.  Each one was hand screened and put together by us, so they’re all a little different, and they’re all a lot awesome looking.
